Sarah Infini Takagi is an actress whose work spans live theater, short films, immersive performance, and commercial acting. Known for her expressive presence, emotional range, and distinctive blend of theatricality and humor, she brings depth, spontaneity, and imagination to roles across drama, comedy, psychological storytelling, and experimental theater.
Most recently, Sarah portrayed “Fermata,” a poetic embodiment of young Beethoven and his muse, in Beethoven with the internationally acclaimed Arlekin Players Theatre. The production ran for three successful runs and twenty performances to sold-out audiences. Her performance was praised in Theater Mirror for “the comedic timing and presence of Chaplin,” with the review describing both lead performances as “outstanding.”
Her screen work includes the award-winning short film Violent Fate, the short film Speak to Me as “Mabel’s Mom,” and commercial film work, including a featured role in a wedding commercial, “Take Care of Her” for Honest Event Rentals. Sarah has also appeared as a principal actor with The Dinner Detective, where she developed strengths in improvisation, audience interaction, and immersive performance.
With extensive experience in improvisational theater and live performance, Sarah is especially drawn to emotionally rich, physically expressive, and psychologically layered roles. She believes acting is a profound practice of empathy — the art of fully stepping into another person’s inner world — and is equally inspired by the immediacy of live theater and the intimacy of film and television.
